Story

I began my journey as a Barber at the young age of 21. I've always been a creative and social person which is what naturally led me down this path. Born and raised in the Bronx NY, one of the toughest boroughs, deeply impacted me. I was encompassed by a multitude of different cultures, races and economic statuses. It shaped and molded me immensely. At 17 I left the concrete jungle and made my way down to Miami, FL. The “Magic City” where there, my passion for barbering solidified. Along the way I've tried different career paths, but I always went back to barbering. Eventually owning and running my own shop. I had always heard about the growing opportunities that Charlotte had to offer and keeping my family best interest in mind we made the ultimate decision to leave the Magic City behind and set down roots here in the Queen City. That is how Magic City Studio was born. Bringing with me, that New York swag and Miami Heat.

One of the things that I am most grateful for is the strong relationships that I have built with my clients over the years. I take pride in the fact that I have been able to make a difference in their lives through my work, not just by giving them great haircuts, but by being a friend and confidant.

As a member of the Matthews community I understand the importance of being a part of a tight-knit neighborhood. I know that a barbershop is more than just a place to get a haircut - it's a gathering place where people can come together, catch up with friends, and share stories. For me, Magic City Studio is the cornerstone of the community, and I am honored to be a part of it.

Looking to the future, I am excited about continuing to serve The Queen City for years to come. I know that there will always be a need for a good barbershop, and I am committed to providing the best service possible to my clients.
